Author’s Firm Takes Over Low-Cost Marketing Book From Simon & Schuster

NORTHAMPTON, MA: Marketing Without Megabucks: How to Sell Anything on a Shoestring, originally published by Simon & Schuster, has now been taken over by Accurate Writing & More, a Northampton, MA marketing and career services firm with a national clientele.

The book, written by AWM’s director, Shel Horowitz, can save business owners tens of thousands of dollars every year. It teaches anyone to be their own publicist and copywriter, make effective ad buys, and slash the cost of every type of marketing. It’s a 384-page comprehensive guide to inexpensive, effective marketing and publicity, including major sections on press coverage, advertising, on-line marketing, direct mail, and self-made marketing.

Marketing Without Megabucks has been praised in the Christian Science Monitor, Home Office Computing, Information Broker, and many other publications.

Horowitz founded Accurate Writing & More in 1981, and has used the techniques in this book to turn his company into the largest firm of its type in the area.
